Johnson & Johnson to Lay Off
Over 200 Employees in New Jersey

Johnson & Johnson is set to cut 231 jobs at its New Brunswick, New Jersey headquarters, with layoffs scheduled for December 27, 2024. The announcement was confirmed in the state’s WARN notice archive, though specific details about the roles affected were not provided. This move comes as part of a larger restructuring plan within the company, which has already resulted in over 1,000 layoffs since 2022.

In a statement, a Johnson & Johnson spokesperson explained that the company is adapting to meet global health challenges in a rapidly changing environment, while offering career support to affected employees.

Johnson & Johnson’s restructuring efforts have affected multiple departments, including a March 2023 reorganization of its Mitek Sports Medicine division and 67 layoffs in October at its DePuy Spine facility in Colorado.
